I will be graduating in May, and subsequently purchasing a boat, but doing a lot of researching/dreaming until. I am verimpressed with CC, as my best friend had a 93 Sport for a while. We wakeboard 90%, ski/slalom 5%, and toob/kneboard/etc. 5%. Love the new 210, and plan to demo next spring, but noticed a lack of cupholders compared to my friend's 07 Sunscape 21. What are you guys doing about the lack of cupholders? The cupholders on the Bu are full 30 minutes after arriving, and stay that way until we are cleaning up on the trailer, and it has 11 cupholders at the very least.

RE: 08 210 Cup Holders
I have not counted, but I bet the 210 has at least 11 cup holders. Well..........................I stand corrected. I just counted 6 cup holders on an '08 210 on the CC website. My 220 has around 12 of them. My 211 had a bunch of them. I don't know whats up with the 210 unless the photo is not accurate.

that's how I roll in my 210.
As for the 220, not opposed to looking at those, just not sure i would need the extra space, and have heard too many things about the wake being finicky. As i said before, lake tests next spring will clear up a lot of my questions, but the wife says it must be functional beyond wakeboarding. Also, where are the 11 cupholders in the 220. I see 2 port, 1 driver, 4 bow, 2 stern.
EDIT: nevermind, saw the 4 on the floor next to the leanbacks. Sorry!

Comfort is a big selling point for the wife, and somewhat for me. We usually make a day of it at the lake and it's nice to have a beverage, take a set, and find your beverage where you left it. we also never go o9ut with less than 4, and many times it's 8+, so the rear seat would probably spend 75% of it's life aft facing. there are a million (at least) reasons to get a 210, just curious about how people deal with the issue. For $70,000+, i think you'd have the little things covered.

Yes, cupholders are an important item in selling a boat. Why do you think they put built in trashcans in boats?
I used to work at a Nautique dealer. The sales person would explain the features of a boat, how it handles, rough water advantages, quality of construction, well you get the idea. After all this, the significant female other would ask "how many cupholders does it have?"
Why do you think many other boat companies put so many "bright and shiny" things on their boats. Bling sells to a lot of people.

If you are going out with 8+ people each time you should consider a 230 they are a bit more roomy, we usually have 4 to 6 people in the boat at a time on our 210 and it is perfect. When we have 8+ it gets a little tight. I'm not going to comment on the whole cup holder issue because I don't want to be accused of flaming.--Kam

lack of USEABLE cup holders are a gripe from people out in our boat, The 210 needs a cutout side pocket simular to all other boats. But the lack of cupholders is so far down the list compared to the Zero off complaintsWWW.WAKE.COM.AU
