The Roswell is a joke. I'm just not sure yet if it's a hilarious or a terrible one.

I would have to say the flight control tower is the best but i really like the roswell tower so i would vote for that.

And i don't understand why you all worry about what other people think is a good tower for your OWN boat. If you like the tower get it and the whole resale thing doesn't make since to me either. Who cares what other people think about your boat becuase after all it's your boat.

Two reasons not to get the Titan

          (1) No option for Z5 Cargo Rack
          (2) Heard it is hard to mount speakers (Wetsounds 485's for example).

Otherwise, I would have ordered it vs. the FCT-1

I have a titan on my Malibu and have no issues mounting wet sounds tower speakers, I would look into a different tower but I have no choice when I order because of the height when lowered.

What about the Z5 Cargo Rack? We don't just wakeboard in my family. With 5 kids, I have a lot of tubers and waterskiers and dear old dad likes to get on the kneeboard every now and then. So storage is very important to us.

So for me it was really a choice forced by the cargo rack and less so by the speakers. You can always find a way to mount the speakers with some sort of adapter.

For me, no question the Titan looks the best. I was dissapointed to find out I couldn't go that route with the options I wanted.

i only keep boats for about a year. say for instance i thought a pink and purple zebra striped gel coat scheme was rad, how hard of a time do you think i would have selling the boat?

if 75% of the population thinks the crinkle cut french fry board grabbing aft view blocking roswell tower sucks and you spec one out for your boat, you have just eliminated 75% of the potential buyers of used boats from giving your boat a second look when it is time to sell.

and, for what its worth, i dont like tige's, but i actually think they are a lot closer to right w/ their malibu copy cat tower than CCs attempt.

For what it's worth I really do not like the new BU knock off tower... Unlike Worm, I'll keep my boat for years to come.

Anyone know what the cargo rack costs for the roswell? Is that 100% true that it only folds to 8.5? Looks like titan is the way to go. I was just out on latonkaboader's 08 210 today and I love its clean look, and it seems more practical if there was ever a time i would store it at the house. We are in the used car business, so resale is a big deal. Odds are I wont have this next boat longer than 2years, and would hate to see correct craft bailing on the roswell idea for 2010.

I would go with the FCT or Titan. If you choose the Roswell tower, I will have no choice but to mock you!

i am sure everyone has thought of this, but i have seen a lot of talk about tower fold heights lately. just keep in mind that it is completely relative to the trailer that the boat sits on. my EZ loader trailer has a very high ride height (has to clear 10" wheels, haha) compared to my ramlin (on 15" wheels)...

I hope CC sees how much controversy they have started by choosing this specific design from Roswell. If they are smart, they will sit down with the Roswell designers and start over from scratch for 2010. CC took a risk on this tower and I don't think it will be an option for long.

                                tdc_worm,

If you bought that crazy of a color scheme from the dealer i'm pretty sure they would buy it back in a year. Ive seen some pretty crazy color schemes at my dealer and i just wouldn't buy a boat based on how well it will sell but how i want the boat to be just my opinion.

And i always wonder why so many people on here sell their boat in a year or less, to me it doesn't seem you would get enough enjoyment out of it.
