    Fuel Efficiency...old 210 hull v. new 210 hull

I like the old (e.g. 2006) 210 hull for the wake. My wife likes the new 210 for the interior room. We'll buy one or the other this fall.

One concern I have: the old 210 throws a great wake with stock ballast plus 300-400 lbs. At that weight, fuel efficiency is fantastic compared to building a similar wake behind my friend's older VLX or my old X2/X1 hull.

Any input on how the new 210 hull compares to the old one in terms of fuel efficiency when building a similar size wake? I'm guessing a lot of folks here have direct experience with both hulls.

    Thanks!!

New hull weighted down is not quite as good on fuel as the old one but my boat gets alot better fuel economy than my buddies 05 X2 with MCX motor and my buddies V Ride with the monsoon. I rode last week with some friends, taking a total of five sets and used $26.00 of fuel. We were running the stock ballast plus I have the fly high additional ballast which is around 1100-1200 extra lbs. 3 Guys in the boat. I also run a power prop.

How many hours for $26.00? Do you have the Fly High Nautique kit? How easy was the install?

1.4 hours of riding for the $26.00. That was actual riding time. We launched, filled tanks, and rode.
