Bchesley, What are the 5 things on the bottom? Looks like 2 are non-scoop thru hulls for the ballast. What are the other 3?

Where do the new boats empty ballast? Side or reverse to the thru-hull?

I have an existing 1.5" flat intake from a previous ballast system that I am going to use. Does anyone know if the flow is drastically reduced by three pumps pumping through that one intake?

The ones I used are 18220-1121. They must have changed the part #.

Wow, I would have never guessed. Feel like making me a SS manifold? I looked for one similar with no luck. Just looks like it takes up so much less space. Just ordered my 3 pumps. Free shipping and no tax is great.

I'm sure a flat one would be better while driving, but mine works. I wanted the scoop mainly for filling fast. I can turn the pumps on while driving out somewhere. At the end of the day when the last person is done I start emptying the sacks while he is getting in the boat.

I am sure that there is more than one way to do it, but I like the idea of each pump having its own source to pull and put water from. The pumps will have no way of fighting each other. The other holes are perfect pass and the plug for the boat. That is a new boat on the showroom of my dealer. I pulled it apart and crawled all over it to take pictures of it.

Mnsuper, there are three flat holes for the three ballast tanks and yes they will fill and empty through those holes.

Let me get this right, the new boats have 3 ballast tanks and 3 thru-hulls for each tank? It does make more sense. Do the new boats dump ballast out the thru-hull with a reversable pump or do they have a seperate pump and dump above the water line?

The pumps are reversible and use one hole per pump. The hole above the water line is the vent and over flow.

Any idea how well the non-scoop thru-hull fills while driving?

I have my thru hulls out the back, under my deck. They fill so fast that being able to drive while filling was not that important to me.

I have nice little stainless screens over them now, not the plastic.

My buddy fills his 06 220 while under way but not at 30MPH. These pumps fill so fast that you can do it while a rider gets his board on.
