Height of FCT above windshield when folded?

Does anyone know how high a Nautique Flight Control Tower sticks above the windshield when it is folded down? I just got a '97 Super Sport and I want to add a FCT to it. But, my boat only has a few inches of clearance above the windshield when I put it in the garage.

Thanks, I'm pretty pumped. I am slowly going to convert it into a Super Air. The first things to add is ballast and a tower.

I usually ride either at Adams Lake, which is up north near Rome City or Kendalville or at the Huntington or Salamonie Resevoir. I also ride with a kid in Warsaw, IN sometimes too.

I bought the boat from a guy that was keeping the boat at Culvers Portside Marine in Culver, IN. It is a '97 Super Sport and only had 94 hours on it! It is in great condition.

Anyways, if anyone else has any info on the tower, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I would say my tower (pre '04) sticks up about 4" when folded.

I think the '04 curved towers are lower than the windshield when folded, not sure. Can a '04 owner confirm?
