My 92 is with Boat US...they offer trailering for a small add on fee. I have a total replacement for an agreed upon value for under $250 a year. They are also partnered with West Marine, and you get a discount for being a member. They also have online quotes.

all of my local agents were almost double compared to ski safe and progressive. to much horse power puts you at higher risk... they must not know much about ski boats!! ski safe was by far the most competitive for the coverage $298 per year, progressive was within $100 per year for the same coverages.

The quote I received from Progressive was the same as Ski-Safe but w/o the 4 mo. storage (inactivity) clause.
          Fireman's was double.

Also, check the National Boat Owners Assoc. for a quote. My policy is up in August. Last year I paid $373 for 12 months use at a stated value of $16k. It inluded uninsured boater, towing, and all liabilities coverage

So far price has been the major point of discussion, what about service?

IMO service is what usually distinguishes a great deal from a good deal.

Anybody have any expierences that they could share?

I just went through comparasion insurance shopping. My results were boatersinsurance.com the highest price, Ski safe in the middle, and voyagermarine.com more than $100.00 less than ski safe. Voyager does an agreed value on the watercraft also.
