My thoughts exactly. They also have the most "aggressive" marketing department of any ski boat company.

In my opinion MC builds a quality boat. I do believe
they are over priced. That is why they have to come
up with this kind of gimmick to sell them. Why is a stock
tandem trailer 7200.00 and with chrome wheels
10000.00. I think if they got real on price they would
be everywhere.

This is not MC cutting price or giving a rebate. It is a third party company. I would run from any dealer offering the rebate. It requires that all but about 15% of the rebates be disqualified. It is a trick and the dealer should be ashamed.

the dealer close to me said it was for real, you didn't still have to have the boat, and many of his customers were already getting checks from a few years ago. i don't want a MC, just thought i'd check into it.'08 SAN 210 Team Black w/Patriot red top stripe-Tow Biminis over the tower-4 under water transom lights-hot/cold shower-crest carpet-full throttle steering wheel-extra 6 channel JL amp-Pro 80's-WS420-fiberglass sub enclosure-led'd vents-Chromax Letters-and Tinted windshield for now......

RE: Rebate !!!
The MC dealer that was doing it lost MC. They sold both MC and Malibu. They no longer offer the deal. It was $10,000.
Read the fine print and don't count on it.
We should have all learned in the past few years if it sounds to good to be true it is. Our country is going to pay dearly for scams like this.

Head over to MC TeamTalk and do a quick search, there have been quite a few threads on this. Some got there money, others had to fight pretty hard to get it and some didn't. Only a fool would make this the deciding factor in purchasing a boat or anything else. It's like winning the lottery, nice if it happens but not something you count on.2018 200 Team H6

Are you implying that there's something wrong with tubing? I grew up with some of the best skiiers in the country (unfortunately I rarely even placed in local events) and we used to go tubing all the time behind Nautiques. For years CC has provided boats to numerous youth camps who use them for a lot of tubing. Perhaps CC shouldn't be donating boats for such unworthy purposes.
Are you implying that there's something wrong with people who buy MC's? Some of the top skiiers and boarders in the world ski MC. Some of the best people I know, people who have a huge amount of integrity, who spend a lot of their time helping others, who pay their mortgages, own MC's. I know a MC dealer who gives 2 local disadvantaged youth camps a boat to use each summer. They get nothing from this. There is no PR value. Are these kids the clientele you're referring to?

Since you are having a hard time understanding my comment, let me try to fill you in. It was meant to be humorous.
Regarding the MC, I guess you haven't noticed that this being a CC site that we like to poke fun at the competition! It's like the Ford owner VS. the GM owner. There isn't anything wrong with a MC!
Tubing on the other hand does create lots of problems. I didn't mean to imply as it's known that I as well as others don't like tubers! It's a mindless activity on the part of the driver that simply screws up the water for for other people that would like to partake in a SPORT. If you can go out and tube on a private lake without anyone else, go beat your brains out! We have plenty of people in this world that have no courtesy to others and we don't need any more on our waters.
Now, I don't understand your comments regarding the generous donations of the boat manufacturers to youth camps. These donations are not user specific. They are being given ski/board boats and these gestures are not endorsing any activity! What does this have to do with the idiot behind the helm pulling tube(s) in S turns and figure 8's and of coarse always on the calm end of the lake?
