Does anybody know of a fix for the stock platform brackets that disintegrate due to the weight of the engine? My feet are thoroughly massaged after this season and I would love not to hear the rattle of the loose platform anymore!! Any suggestions appreciated.

I'am not sure of the difference between 01 and 03, but I put some silicon on the brakets and put the platform on wet. it is a little harder to get off, but it took the
vibration out.

its 4:45 am and for a second I thought you were talking about a 2001 with a 501 engine.
then I realised you were talking about a super air.
If you do go with the silicon method, I'd go with some ''AC silicon'' if I were you. you know the kind that you put around a window and you peel it off the next year?

the one drawback to the Python...
I wold try what Fitzee said and just replace them. Mine has nearly 400 hours and is not too bad yet. My friends with 1250 hours is really bad and has come off a couple times. He has attempted to re-drill, and that is a very temporary fix. If Alloy has them, and that works for you, post your solution, and pics. Would be interested in knowing. I think the silicon method would work for about one day with that particular motor.the WakeSlayer

I don't know how far gone your brakets are, but I have the 496 python and the silicone method works great. and yes the ac silicone is the way to go.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but speaking of python vibrations - has anybody had trouble with the tower vibrating where it swivels?
