A 1992 2001? That I have GOT to see. Please take some pictures.
They stopped making the 2001 in 1989.
When looking over any 1992 or older Nautique, follow these instructions.
I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.
If we can be of service to you, please contact us anytime!
I am trying to decide between that and a 99 205 prostar. It will be a general us family ski boat pulling tubes to maybe some wake boarding down he road. Obviously there is a price difference. as well as a size difference. But the SN will fit my family fine. So what should I do?????
I sure would like to be skiing this weekend!
RLBOL - I think you're going to love the Ski Nautique. They're just great boats, and great for resale too. I think the MC's aren't horrible, although we tease them a lot, but the whole point about buying a Ski Nautique is that someone took the time to build it right to begin with. I would have more confidence pulling a nautique out of a salvage yard than buying a new MC or especially a Boo. They're just built that well. I have an 1989, I'm the second owner and it flat out performs my good buddies 02 sea ray, which is supposed to be a decent I/O boat. I don't know how many times I've jumped him at the ramp, then put in his new alternator, towed him in off the lake, as well as many, many others. Heck, that's half the reason I got tower speakers, so my buddies could jam some tunes while I'm towing them in!!! I think you'll be happier with a well taken care of Nautique than any other boat, and I'd bet, for some odd reason, that most people on this site would agree!
