I can't seem to remember. Did a couple quick searches and didn't find the post. I'm sure it has been on here before. Does anyone know the year that correct craft quit using wood in the hull.

They still used it in some seat frames a few years after 1992 I believe.

Was the entire floor just bare wood with carpet on it, throughout the 80's ??

Nope. Besides the removable panel behind the engine, the only wood in the floor (from mid-70's through '92) was between the engine and battery box. Everywhere else got structural foam- and it was all covered in glass (~1/8-1/4" thick).

Here's a good picture for reference. I replaced the outer stringer on my '90, and repaired the boat as it was from the factory.

what kind of wood is recommended for infront of engine or behind the motorbox? i need to get some at some point...
