Proud owner of a 210 and my take of the deal!

I drove from Atlanta up to Somerset KY Thurs night to trade in my 07 Yamaha AR230 for a REAL wakeboard boat! I bought a SAN 210 TEAM black and red. The dealership(Lake Cumberland Marine) was a good place to make this purchase. They gave me good money for my trade and a great price on the new boat! Service was excelent(Dan Candido) and the boat was just as they told me! This was a HUGE purchase for me and they made everything seemless. I basically made the deal over the phone.

After the deal was done I made the long 5 hour drive back to Atlanta. After spending about 2 hours cleaning the boat back up from the long ride(**** bugs!) I dropped her in the water for my first ride as a new owner! My impressions were fantastic! Absolutely love the boat. I have noticed a few things already.......**** a hate to put the boat in the shop already! The interior lights only seem to work when they want to. One of the tower speakers sounds terrible(sounded fine on the test drive) and the cover sure in interesting. Some help with this would be greatly appreciated! I put the cover on and it fits nicely. I see there is some string that you tighten it down with. I tried to get it as tight as possible, but it still doesnt seem to be very tight compared with my last cover. There is also no poles that go underneath it to keep the water off. It doesn't seem like the cover is tight enough to do this and the last thing I want to do is ruin a $600 cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here's a couple of pics.

way too long of a drive!

    Awesome looking boat. Congrats.

If your cover is like mine then you should have 3 poles. I'd have the dealer ship them to you, you'll need them. The cover doesn't fit very tight, regardless of how tight the string is. The poles will help though. BTW, I put a quick-clip on one side of mine (side furthest from dock) and a belay grip on the other to make things easier. I am planning to get a new cover for next year though. Lights sounds like either a loose wire or bad breaker. Since it's a new boat this sounds like something I'd take it to a dealer for under warranty.

I was heading back friday afternoon arrived in north atlanta at 5pm. Thanks for the compliments! I have also found out that I don't have a key to fill her up. Good thing they gave me a tank of gas! I will have to get them to ship that with the poles I need for the cover. I will be taking the boat in for winterazation in the next couple of weeks and will have them look at the wiring and speaker!

I was also looking through all my paperwork that come with the boat. Is it true that there are two cards that have to be sent in for the warranty? I found one for CC and the other for PCM which the dealer is susposed to sign?

My gas cap on my new 216 won't work with a quarter. I had to have the key.

                  Nice looking boat.....you'll enjoy her...
