"... do not climb on tower. Do not jump off tower. Do not bang head into tower. Do not lick tower when outdoor temps are below freezing. Do not lift boat with a helicopter from the tower. Do not tie a noose with a ski rope and hang yourself from tower. Do not fill boat with gasoline then send a shower of sparks from the tower with an angle grinder..."

    I love warning labels.
How 'bout a little reverse action...

I can't believe what our society has come to. If you stand back and look at your boat, you will see more stickers and labels warning you not to be a dumbass, than there is places to put them. If there were less people pointing fingers at others for their mistakes we could probably solve many problems. When was the last time you heard someone say, "I screwed up. It was no one elses fault but mine". When something bad happens, too many people say, "It was because he did this.....or that made me do that....". What about, "I knew the tower was 13 feet tall and I forgot" not that I am going to sue because the bridge is too low (That freeking bridge was there since time began. Use your powers of observation and check to see if you can clear). It sucks but to have the ability to look in the mirror and say, " I should have known better", would save the rest of the world tons of time preparing for that litigation that just may happen. Think of how ofter you do paper work for your job that is preparing for litigation. Even if it is just "Documentation". (Well, documentation for WHAT!!....Litigation!!)

my dealer wouldnt even take off those little red stickers even though they know how i am and am not retarded(not totally anyway). maybe they should put those stickers on tech's tools so they won't forget to check hubs and lugs when they sell a trailer that's been sitting a while or do everything on the work order.

and i agree about taking responsability for your own mistakes. if i F something up on my boat i will pay to have it fixed. when the dealer or aftermarket shop F's it up i hate having to go through so much explanation of why they should pay to have it fixed. i mean it should just be, "ya'll did this and you're paying for it" not to mention if it's something that depreciates the value of your boat or something like that. so whatever business you're in be a good person. it'll come back to reward you one day.

I was at a ski resort, and there next to beautiful fireplace that was warming the entire room was a sign. The sign said, "Caution, fire is hot"!!!! This is simmilar to ,"Touching a rotating propeller may cause personnal dammage"!!......Running over your neighbor may cause death....
