    I'll have to put a prop on my list for next summer, I'd probably keep the original though, its in fine shape. I know I can buy the boxes, I'm trying ot make soem that fit better. I just need the time to do it.

      Prop recommendations from Jim at ACME
      470 or 1442 for the three blades, for a 422 for the four blade. For even still a little more power and little less top end with a four blade he recommends the 654 (little more torquey than the 422). Those guys know absolutely everything about their products. Best change I ever made on my boat was putting a 422 on it. Couldn't be happier.

          whats the difference in the 3 vs 4 blade props? 4 blade gives more torque?

            3 blade less effort to turn , less bite. 4 blade more bite in the turns, more holeshot.
