Good or Bad Idea?

I bought a three port heater and couldn't find a spot in the boat ('06 SAN 210) that I liked to mount it, so the heater has been sitting for the last two years in the garage.

I put everything in a box that be can installed when it gets cold and taken out when it gets hot, I live in Arizona. We usually only have a total of three riders in the winter.

What do you all think, is this a good idea or a bad idea? What are the negatives? It works great.

Makes sense to me it will make the core last longer and should work well. I'm in San Diego I may try it myself.

if it works it works. Only thing i would consider is wheter its in the way or not but with only three people on board it shouldnt be a problem

We usually just stack backpacks and jackets, etc.. behind the driver's seat and we can still do that. I was going to install the shower pump in the box too, but found a better place for that so I can use it year around.

Looks like all it needs is a heated seat pad on it and it would be the most sort after spot in the boat! 8-)

That might be a good idea. We were thinking heated cup holders using small copper tubing with the hot water circulating through them. We could have hot soup then between sets...
