I'm having trouble emptying my ballast tanks on my 2000 SAN. It won't empty at all unless on the trailer and you blow in the vent hole (yes how the **** would anyone ever figure that out but there you go). I'm thinking of trying a dual direction pump in place of the two single inline pumps. Anyone tried this and if so any success? This not being able to empty on the water thing is extremely annoying!!! Thanks!

RE: New pumps for ballast
One of those threads is mine and I am finally going to install the pumps this weekend. I have been really behind on getting it finished, but since winter is here I have not been motivated to finish. I am using the reversible pumps like the other thread. If you have ever seen how fast they will fill and empty a tank you would already be ordering them for yourself.2001 Super Air Nautique

RE: New pumps for ballast
I ripped my entire system out and did a custom ballast system using the ballast puppies you are discussing. I did not like my launch control system. Just out of curiosity, how do you integrate these into the old two bilge pump system? Is it pretty straight forward? Is it easier to do than what I did?the WakeSlayer
