It's down at Whitelake. Also, it's probably only partially in the showroom since they're doing 216v demos. Probably spilling over to the marina.

Sounds like a lot of fun, and the 13th they're having Melvin's hamburgers. Worth the drive for that!

We've got a Melvin's nearby (FV), but it's still worth the drive. Fortunately, that is my first weekend without clinicals, so I'll be heading down, weather cooperating of course.

Haven't been to the FV one, and not sure it's related (I thought there were only threee: Elizabethtown, Hillsborough st, and Whiteville). The one on Hillsborough doesn't reflect the original in Elizabethtown.

I'm not sure it's related either, but I assumed (we know what happens when you do this) that it was. they ONLY have hamburgers/hot dogs and fries and drinks. Also, does anyone know if you can ride behind the 216v @ open house?

Elizabethtown doesn't do fries, and until a few years ago (new owners) didn't do cheese on the burgers. The one down there uses fresh beef from the grocery store right behind it. Let me know how it compares, if it's close enough then I can stop when we go to Harris. (and keep in mind they're doing barbecue the first Saturday and Melvin's the second).

Don't know if you can ride behind the 216v, but if you do let me know how the ski wake is/looks. If you're wanting to buy, I'm sure they'll give you a pull, but don't know about a joyride session.

Isn't every ride a joyride? I'm looking to buy, but not until after May (graduation) at the earliest. I'd just like to compare it to 210/220 wake. Don't ski enough to really even consider it. i know they're doing demos on the lake, but didn't know about riding. Maybe i'll take my gear just in case....

hang around to late when not many others are around and they may accommodate you, if nothing else to see you get in that cold water.

I know they have given pulls in the past to potential buyers, but I don't know if they'd do it during the event.

I didn't make it but I am thinking about buying my third Nautique from White Lake.

Living in Cary, that's the place to go. Burlington is only 45 minutes away and you can't beat the service at either location.

Don't forget, they're also doing it this Saturday.

I actually moved back to my hometown, Bailey, NC ... so WL and Burlington is a toss up for distance. WL is a much easier drive so that is where I go.

As for service, I have a certified PCM tech that is only 5 minutes from my house that runs his own shop. Joe Thompson Inboard Marine Service. He does all of my service work at a great price. I drop my boat off in the morning and he has it ready by afternoon the same day. Can't beat it.
