I bought the wrong set!!!! These have never been used. I put them together and realized they won't fit my 05.

Is the reason they won't fit is because the clamps are too large? If yes, then maybe check out the bushings that Monster sells, they should work for adapting the larger clamps to the 1 7/8" tubing of you '05 tower.
