97-2000 Sport Nautique

I am looking into buying a '97 - '00 Sport Nautique...maybe a Super Sport if I can find one for the right price.

I will want to install an FCT and Ballast tanks or sacs. Does anyone know what an FCT will cost (ballpark). Will I beable to install the ballast beneath the floor (I would like to have it hidden, but not take up my rear storage if possible).

Something to check into... If you will be picking up a FCT and tank/sac with the boat figure out what you'll be spending total. You might be able to pick up a boat with the FCT and LCS for about the same amount. We just got a great deal on an '02 Air Nautique because the dealer wanted it off the lot. Good luck hunting!

I figured they were about 2K. I would love to find one with the FCT and LCS already installed. It just depends on what I can find out there.

I will be seriously looking to buy next winter/spring. i Will beable to spend between $20 and $25K. I would hope that the $25K would have the FCT at the very least. I am considering a 99 Sport right now...hopefully it will be around or one similar when I am ready.

Do the Sports and super sports have different hulls?

Remember to Buy in the Winter and Sell in the Spring. I have seen up to 5K difference in boat prices from winter to spring.
