Congrats! What lake are you on?

We are on High Rock Lake in Lexington/Salisbury all the time but have been to White Lake several times since my grandmaother has a cabin down there.

I have an 08 Team, Blue and yellow with the Titan tower. Love the boat and im sure you will also.

Kerr Lake is the lake is where we are usually at. Quite a few Nautiques call Kerr home, which is cool. Falls Lake and Lake Gaston are about the same distance for me too but I like Kerr the most. Also, Kerr is the easier drive out of those three trailering the boat.

I also have a local reservoir that I hit sometimes when I just want to do a quick run.

my ski buddy's dad lives in Salisbury and ski's Highrock every weekend during the season. He has a 93 SN. We went to join him Sept 07 and I've been dying to get back. That's a nice lake, and only 2 hours from here. highrock, what to you think of Badin? We've thought of taking my boat and exploring the two lakes one day.

Skitower. I have only been on Badin a couple times. Theres a nice lake between High Rock and Badin called Tuckertown which is a great ski lake. Only fisherman go on it and theres usually only 5-10 boats on the whole lake at any time, it is smaller but you always seem like your by yourself.

I love High Rock honestly, been there all my life. Its definently bigger but theres low bridges that seperate big parts of the lake. I would say stay on the Salisbury side of the lake so you dont get trapped in by one. I dont think you could get all over both High Rock and Badin in a day. When the waters a little low drop your tower down and you could make a day on High Rock.

Just my opinion, but I think you kind of wasted money on the tower speaker prep kit option. That amp and the associated wiring they install will not do a very good job powering a set of Wetsounds to their full potential. Other than that... nice boat man! Congrats on your purchase.

A 500 watt Polk amp won't power a set Wetsounds? I find that hard to believe.

Wetsounds recommends their SYN2 amp for a pair of Pro 60s/80s, which is 200 watts x 2 at 4 ohms. The Polk will run 250 watts x 2 at 4 ohms. It may be underpowered for 485s but those would be too large for my Titan Tower.

Okay, that makes a little more sense. I assumed your would run a pair of 485's and they would not be bridged.

I would like the 485s but I think they wlll be to large for the Titan tower. I went with the prep kit to keep everything factory.

I think they would fit. I friend of mine has a 3-some on his Titan tower. They fit fine. He just made a custom bracket to hold the 485 in the center using the Pro 80 mounts so he would have to cut up the tower bimini since the mount cutouts in the bimini didn't match up.

just email wet sounds and ask them what will fit. i don't know what tower it was but i saw a 230 with 2 485's and i think 2 pro 60's on it. you'll be fine with pro 80's though. check out their mb8's. little more bass
