    Just saw a new 216V...

....and all I have to say is WOW! I liked it a lot. Nice design, cool features, well thought out. The tower is nicer in person and when you are forward of where it attaches to the hull, it doesnt feel like you are surrounded by a tower which is nice for a boat to feel that way It is a real competitor for the 210 in my book, I actually liked it better than the 210. You guys really need to check this boat out in person to appreciate it for sure.

Now just to hear some behind the boat reviews Oh, and the fury red is an incredible new color.

I saw one at my local dealer last week when I ordered my 210. I agree that it looks much better in person than in pictures. The new tower looks decent when equipped with the cargo rack too. I agree with you about the field of view that the tower allows, which is really nice. The 216v has a true wrap around interior that isn't really found in the other models. Kind of has the plush look too like a Malibu. Also, loved the hidden cooler in the rear for the beer stash.

What would keep me from buying this boat is the walk through in the rear. Just not a fan. No real reports on the wake yet but I'm sure it's no 210. Then again, it is not supposed to be so that isn't really a negative IMO.

Fury Red is an awesome color. I ordered my 210 with a Fury Red top and bottom stripe.

Is it normal for wake reviews to come out so late? I would have thought somebody on this forum would have gotten one already and be able to tell us what the wake is like. The boat is slick looking and looks like it has potential, but until the wake is reviewed, the jury is still out.

Can't wait to see the wake as well...especially for skiing. Would like to see a discussion on the ski wakes of this boat versus the 211. Also, need to get a tape measure out and look at height of boat on trailer with tower folded down.
        Peace..

For a ski wake? I can't get a ski wake out of WATERSKI magazine. Maybe you're right, if WATERSKI is giving us wakeboarding wakes, maybe WAKEBOARD will give us Ski Wakes.
