    Cincinnati Boat Show

Went to the boat show this weekend in Cincinnati and was very dissapointed in my local Nautique dealer. They had no '09's. The only boats they had there to display were a Black, Orange, and White '08 230 that he has had for 15 months (which was at the show last year) and cant give away. He was asking in the mid 60's for it and I know was willing to come down even more. Next to that was two '08 210's. He said he isnt ordering any '09's until all his '08's are gone. Frankly the guy was kind of an A$$. So unfortunatelly I wont be able to see an 09 in person until I get to Angola this spring.

It is a shame because our local Malibu Dealer had a huge display with lots of nice new boats. They didnt have enough salesmen to help everyone. I dont know if its the way they market the dealership or what but everytime I go into their shop to buy boarding accesories they are ALWAYS busy and always moving new boats through there.

    Any thoughts?

    RE: Cincinnati Boat Show

that sucks. I've called them several times for information, brochures, etc. and nothing. Nautique even called to check on the experience, and I told them I never heard from the dealer, and they said they would take care of it and I've still never heard from them. I guess I'll keep the boat I have, or buy a 01 or 02 SANTE 210... bummer.

      RE: Cincinnati Boat Show

Hummm.....I took my 220 there for winterization and a few other minor issues and they were allmost begging me to trade for a newer boat.  The CC salesman was off sick that day.  I told the guy I was talking to that I would at least consider it.  He said someone would call me in the next few days......6 weeks later, nothing!  My guess is they are probably not going to be a CC dealer for much longer! I hope this isn't the case but??

I'm a customer of thiers and them loosing the CC dealership would be a good thing. At least there would be a chance that someone else could pick it up. Have NEVER had a good experience with Land and Sea. New boat was filthy when I picked it up. Never has anything done on schedule. Caused damage to boat while on their lot. New boats on lot sit outside uncovered or partly covered. I have seen the Orange boat at show sitting outside on their lot uncovered in the rain and snow!!!

I have been to the dealership a few times. They are never able to asist me on parts. I always just end up calling Bruce at MWCC. I would have to say that I will NEVER take my boat there for service nor buy a boat from them. I really hate to say it but I would rather buy a new Malibu from my local dealer than buy a boat from them. My family has owned nothing butl CC boats starting with a 69 CC Mustang.

The best thing for CC customers would be for someone else to get the line.

This is the Cincinnati CC dealer. I am sorry to here about your disapointment with the Cincinnati Boat Show. Yes we only had three Nautiques, as we were limited on space this year. However, we dedicated half of our tiny booth to Nautique as they have been a great manufacturer to work with. We did not have any 2009's unfortunately, due to the fact that we still do have quite a few 2008's, yet we have placed an order for 2009's, but currently have none to offer.

Travis I remember your name, CC gave me your contact info. I did a reverse address look up on 411.com and never found you. The email address that they supplied me with was bogus, and there was no phone number as well. You may contact me directly on my cell phone at 513 638 8283, if you have any questions about my inventory or if I can further assist you.

Scwiiing, I do not recall a boat being damaged on our lot, but please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns.

Land N Sea Collection has found great success in selling from their own inventory, Correct Craft’s factory inventory, and other dealers inventory 2008 product.

Some criticism has been made that Land N Sea is not stocking 2009 models. We do have incoming 09’s and anticipate 09 product within a few weeks. Economically it makes sense to offer what the majority of customers are looking for and that is substantial savings. New 08’s as a result of deep discounts to dealers, attractive consumer rebates, and our willingness to take lower margins are saving our customers $10,000 to $14,000 off a comparable 2009. These special deal boats are almost gone and until they are we want to sell as many as possible for our customers to receive the best possible deal.

Some recent criticisms have been written about us and we assure you we are in good standing with Correct Craft and intend to remain a Nautique Dealer for many years to come. We also are working on making improvements in our operation to assure a higher level of customer satisfaction.

Regarding the Cincinnati Show we finished with the highest number of Nautiques sold than any other previous show with a lot of activity still happening. We cut back our expenses by 2/3 and sold more boats! That proved to be an excellent business decision. With our recent changes we are able to offer larger discounts then the competition because our low operating costs per unit can be passed onto more saving for the consumer.

We have the nicest facility of any dealership in town selling wake and ski boats. The largest and most professional service staff.

We are always open to customer comment and please feel free to call with your suggestions. 513-985-0000
