    WHICH ONE???!!!

I am about to buy my first nautique. I'm a decent wakeboarder, a decent skier with two kids (6&7 yrs old). I am replacing a 22ft I/O bowrider. We really like the layout of the 220 but have heard several negatives:
    1. Rides rougher than others especially in the chop.
    2. Isn't as comfortable as other nautiques with places to stretch out on a long day on the water.
    3. Wake is finicky with regards to weight distribution in the boat.

216v and 210 are both acceptable layouts. 236 is great but a little too pricey.

    Would appreciate any feedback/advice.
Also, how does the snap in air dam work compared to the fold out door?

    RE: WHICH ONE???!!!

IMO the 210 is the ticket it has great wakes and still has a decent slalom wake.
The interior layout is very adaptable and roomy . The 230 is my first choice for size
but doesnt have a good slalom wake. Both the air dam and fold out door works the same
as far as blocking wind . Now is a good time to buy there are some deep deals on leftover 08s
and low hour used out there. My understandind is the 220 is a decated wakeboard boat?
Good luck.[ PS I am bias I just bought a 210.]

210 is your best choice. i did not see you mention wife, so you and your two kids can go out and bring 7 more people, or 6 and your wife. if you're getting one with the new seating layout everyone will be super comfy. the 220 does not have as good of a wakeboard wake(i think many would agree). you're kids could go from beg. to #1 pro with a 210 and not ever need an updated wake. you'll be happy with whatever you choose, but i think down the road you'll be happier with a 210.

I have rode behind 230, 220 and 210. My boat of choice would be the 230, but its out of our price range. Buddy has a 220 that we rode behind a few times, and honestly I do not like it. Its biggest flaw is the weight ( uneven wake), we were always moving people while someone was riding to get rid of the white wash. pain in the @$$. We have a 07 210 and latonkaboarder has a 08 210 (weighted) and they run flawless everytime. If you do get a 220 i would sugest putting some fat sacs in it to make it less sensitive. Either way you can not beat a CC

learning on a small wake and shorter rope is good and makes you better for it because you actually learn to get pop and what not, but eventually fly high sacs/longer rope are not optional for progression and more fun, they are strictly needed.

In this market, get an 05 210 and a promo 196 of any year.

              Problem solved.

Go with the 210. Another point to consider, it will hold its resale value better than the 216v. With that said, I'm upgrading to a 220 as soon as I can convince Gasman to sell me his!

                          Gasman,

How is the seating in the rear conrners when the center cushion is in place? It looks like there is nowhere to put your feet. Also is there enough room to stretch your legs out back there with the pods? I'm going to demo the 230/220 and 210 this week. Any other observations you'd like to share? I really appreciate everyone's feedback. I'm a total rookie.

Sounds wierd but when we have more than 7 people on board , i take that rear center seat out& everyone has a place for stretching out ! Im six one 225 & i sit in that seat once in a while with no problem .Thats what i mean by all around boat !! Im sure more pros & cons . We love all the boats in the CC line up!!We are just lucky enough to have a 220 !Good luck !!

if a slalom wake is in the mix but not #1, a 211 is what you want. If it's #1, you need a DD. That said, I was told at the boat show by someone who's tested it that the 216v has a good ski wake, just not quite as good as a 211. He said it did have a good wakeboard wake.

I would worry about pricing, though. It's the new thing so you probably can't get a deal. You should be able to find a good deal on the 210 & 220 (and maybe a 230/236).

Also, it you don't like the FCT3, the 216v is out (and it DOESN'T fit through a normal garage door).
