I would say 210 for sure. 211 would also be a good choice but you can't get them loaded anymore. Very basic with the options.

I have an 08 211 TE and a friend has a 210 (I think 07). I enjoy slalom behind the 211, don't enjoy it behind the 210, do still sometimes wish I had a 196. Others think the same. I think all of our kids think the 210 has the better wakeboard wake, but only one doesn't like the 211 (and he's a higher level competitor). Both boats have fatsacs btw. 211 has been the ideal family boat for us, I'm glad we went with it. That said, the recommendation to find a used wakeboard boat and a used 196 would truly give you the best of both worlds. Good luck.

          That's why I get behind sodbuster88's 196 whenever possible...the 211 is good, but the 196 is OMG!

I have a 220 SANTE and ski at 34 mph. The wake doesn't lie down, you will notice it. If you are used to riding a course, you'll hate it, but if you are a recreational rider it won't bother you. I used to have a 21 ft DD and the ski wake is similar, but a little wider. I love the layout of the 220. To me it is extremely functional. In addition, I think the boat handles very well in the chop, especially if you have the ballast tanks full...cuts like a hot knife through butter.

+1 on 211. This is really your boat.

I used to own one and I loved it, and so did every wakeboarder on our lake, and so did every member of my family. I would also enjoy the occasional ski set behind it with no trouble.

So why did I sell it? I tore my ACL last summer and I'm out of wakeboarding for a while. Surprisingly however, I can still ski, so I decided to invest in becoming a better skier, and I got a 196 instead!

Sad to hear about the options they stopped offering. They used to market this boat as the ultimate crossover for skiers and wakeboarder. Has an AWSA approved hull for slalom and the Hydrogate and ballast allowed for great wake possibilities. But I guess CC were hurting their own sales in more profitable models so they kinda downgraded it to the mere entry-level family fun boat.
