Split Decision - Bimini Color

Trying to decide on the bimini color for my boat. I had decided to go with a black bimini with a white swoosh from Towerbimini's. Once approaching the wife, she said that we should go with a white bimini with a black swoosh. The way I see it, the black will be hotter, but may be easier to keep clean. For those of you who have opinions on bimini color selection, please help me out with this one as the wife approves of the purchase, we're just split on the color decision.

I have an all black bimini, the color has no effect on temp. Go with what ever makes her happy!

Dark bimini's do a better job because they block more sun, not to mention they look better. I would go with all black and save the swoosh.

my boat's b/w too, and my bimini is black w/gray stripe (check out October of the PN calendar). My stripe is bigger than yours but with mine that much white would have been too much. My gray looks good.

Black....its much easier to keep clean. I currently have a black top on on my 2007 SN. Had a lighter beige top on my 2000 and it showed dirt pretty easily. Had to baby it and keep it covered (rolled back) when not using the boat to keep it clean.
