Center console in the future?

Now all we need is a CSX inspired center console....seriously. Thoughts, comments?

Gas springs hold the engine cover or seats up and probably the hood and trunk of your car. If you run non-stainless in salt they don't last long and the rust makes a mess. Tinning of the exposed wire ends help prevent corrosion of wire leads and helps keep corrosion from climbing under the wire's cover. You become real familiar with these issues if you run in salt. Yea for Correct Craft in addressing this market. This will be a better boat than the freshwater version. I wonder what the cost will be.

when I first saw the CSX I thought it was such a weird concept. A fishing boat that's setup for wakeboarding. Really a nice all around true crossover, I suppose, but I don't live near the ocean, so it seems completely foreign to me. I'm sure it would be useful, but just seems odd.... I like my ski boats low to the water, powerful, and Correct Craft.

I have just been informed that I was incorrect about my 375 HP post above. The correct numbers according to Correct Craft are...

5.7 Catalyst: 343 HP
6.0 (non-cat): 409 HP
6.0 Catalyst: 409 HP

Thanks for the inormation Jeff. I know the LINC system is pretty new, but I had some questions. Does anyone know how the guages for the fullness of the ballasts are measured? Is there a measuring device in the hard tanks, or do you have the ability to configure a "time until tank is full" within the computer?

The reason I ask is that when people add onto the ballast with the Fly High Wedge sacks for example, you would want the ability to adjust the fill settings so both the hard tanks and the wedge tanks are full when the dash says the ballast is full.

Mastercraft actually does this based on timing so the ballast fullness is configurble. This allows you to add additional sacks, but still have the dash read the correct level.

Im very interested into getting a coastal edition with out the LINC system either a SAN 210 or Crossover 216v

I've priced out a 2009 Super Air 230 Coastal Edition the way I want it and the price comes in the low $90k range. That's too rich for my blood. I'm hoping to find a used one, or a leftover boat a dealer has in stock, so the price is more bearable. However, I'm a bit worried this is going to end up being a special order only boat.

Has anyone heard of anyone ordering a coastal edition boat yet?

I've even thought about trying to purchase the boat which was used for the Coastal Nautique photo shoot. Any thoughts on how I might pick up this boat?

I can see the hassle with the Linc system in toggling between screens to view something that with the old gauge system is always visible. I have that problem with my Furuno system on another boat.

with most of the screens, the basic engine functions are all ways visible that way when you are changing screens the basic engine features are always present
