To cut or not to cut

so I scored a fly high integrated bow sac and now I am thinking about cutting my cooler out of the bow of the 210. I told myself I wouldn't do this but man it would be nice to plumb this sac in hit a button and never see or worry about it. For those that have done this what are the do's and don'ts. I am figuring on alot of fiberglass flying everywhere and not much space to work.

My second thought was to plumb it in but to just lay the sac in like normal and just fill it in the provided space. If I did this would this be enough weight, and would it be too heavy on the other side ( im running vdrive sacs on top of hard tanks).

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Have fun! It's a real pain but worth every minute of it. Watch out for the wires running inside of a piece of PVC pipe. You should be able to see it if your boat has it. As far as the cutting goes, I used a variety of tools. Everything from a cut-off wheel to drilling lots of holes side by side in the tightest places and them smoothing it out after I got the cooler out.

Well the cooler is gone. I was just going to start cutting with a dremel tool and see how far it took me. I got about a 1/4 of the way around before my cutting wheel broke. Soooo about 6 wheels later the cooler was gone. I still have a little cleaning up to do, smoothing out edges but I guess the hardest part is over.

I got my bow sac in on friday so I am excited to get it plumbed in.

I got the drysuit out and rode on friday. Man am I sore!

here are a few I took with the sac put in place. I still haven't plumbed it in. I should be able to get to it some time this week. So far I am really glad I've done this. I can't wait to try it out. Pics are a little dark and the sac is black so that doesn't help, but you get the idea.

That looks pretty good j, what year is your 210? I'm wondering if that will fit in a new 210. How deep are those areas to the fiberglass?

Thanks, let me know how full it can get once you fill it up, and if you can put your seats back down.

It will fit perfectly in a new 2007+ 210. I have the same one. You cant fill it 100% up but about 85%. I like it so far. I don't have it plumbed in yet but that will be my next project

jack. what are you running in the rear. And I assume you are saying you fill it about 85%. Is that correct.

Here is what I did. I fill the cooler with pop bags to equal out the weight.
