Dash Plaque on a 2007, where does it go??

My boat was formly a promo boat then used as a club boat for a season. There was no dash plaque?

So on my new to me 2007, I ordered the "Custom engineered for X" dash plaque. It can be found in the back of the 2007 (or any year for that matter) PDF manual.

Where the heck does it go? I have looked at several pics of the dashes etc but can't find a place for it as well as it doesnt seem to fit.

any ideas?

Where can you order a costom plaque? right from correct craft or go through a dealer?

Same issue here with a2006 210 - It does not really fit anywhere that looks good on the new boats, I looked the throttle area but decided to let it sit at the house.
You can go through the dealer to get it - If I remember correctly they are real proud of them as well. ($$$$)

Scoke, you are correct my friend. There really is no designated place for it on the 07. I put mine on the gel right in front of the glove box center of the latch. I can take a pic if you want.

My 2002 had an exact spot from the factory to peel off the old and replace. I am considering email CC and asking them directly as they designed the shape for a reason?

I'll get you a pic in just a few. My last 196 was a 02 also, it had a disgnated place on the control pod.

I asked Jeff Husby about it, and he said there is NO special place for it. He's right.

Not sure if the dash on an 07' differs from my 05', I asked CC this question when we first took delivery. They directed me to put it on the right side of the dash just above the gauges, does not really look like it was made to fit like all the past CC's I had, but I put it there anyways.

If I find a pic will post it for ya, BTW, boats a 206.

I posted based off of past knowledge, I made an assumption that the pricing would be similar without first referencing the owners manual.

Either way the decal does not fit anywhere decent as in the past
You are correct that it will be canted if above the volt meter, therefore the reason I chose not to install at this point
