Oh was it a great.....and bad day!!!!

So yesterday the new pair of Titan alpha two's showed up. This morning I dropped her off at Sound Sensatons in Marietta, came highly reccomended by 210GA, to get them installed, have the amps tuned and also tint the windshield. After several hours they call and tell me that they have wired up the speakers, but they won't fit the tower Yellow_Flash_Colorz: because the mounting brackets were too small! I had to call titan and order the right ones. This made my steal on fleabay not quite as much of a steal, but still a great deal. So now when the brackets come in I have to take her back down there and have the install completed. When I got back to the house there was a nice sized box on the front porch. Inside was my new Inland Surfer Blue Lake! PDT_002 I was hoping to finish the day with everything they way I wanted it to start the season, but it looks like next friday will have to do. Here's a few pics of the day.

    before

with 35% tint........just right I think.......I love the darker, but I still want to be able to see at night!

They are still in storage for the winter. I will probably put them, the mirror, and the bimini on next friday.

Thanks for the compliments! I'm really ready to use her. I just picked her up in Sept of last year and only had her out twice before winterizing. I've spent more money on the boat in the past couple weeks than anything else! Bring out another thousand really works here. Hopefully i'm about done with the mods.

Thank you! I reinstalled everything today, so it looks much more like a real boat inside now! I had another mishap when I uncovered her today I noticed the tint is coming up in the bottom curved corners. They will have to redo this two pieces of glass when I take my boat back to get the other two speakers installed next fri.

This past Friday was much better.....an few new things installed! here's some pics

This is a volume knob for the interior speakers. Now I can turn off the interior speaker and keep the towers on.......much cheaper than putting in a eq.

the other two tower speakers now installed

Instead of the volume knob why not just run the interior speakers off the front channel and the towers off the rear channel and then use the FADE knob on the CMD to control volume instead the cabin?

I have a 6/4/3/2 channel amps. The 6 ch. runs the 6 interior speakers on each channel to give them plenty of power. The 4 ch. runs the four tower speakers and the 2 is bridged to the sub. These polk speakers are great, but they need plenty of power going to them to sound good. I actually looking to upgrade my 4 channel to run more power to the towers.

$400 isn't to bad. It looks great. I spent about $1000 to put the crest carpet in. Just like the wheel, had to have it.
