Engine Rotation

Which rotation is the GT40 - left or right? I'm looking at buying a replacement engine, and want to make sure it is identical with respect to its rotation.

When I used to put it in reverse, the boat pulled to the Port side (left hand side of the boat). Based on this, with a V-Drive, I would believe the engine turns to the Left, but want to make sure.

Yours runs standard rotation. I was mistaken on the other thread. Good choice on a replacement GT40!

Mikeski, sorry to disappoint (and one would argue it is me who perhaps would be the one disappointed nonetheless...), I am wondering what the rotation is because I am replacing my GT40 with an EX343 - and I think you know why so I'll refrain.

The EX343 is sold as either "Standard" (Left Hand) or "Right Hand" rotation. I was almost certain the GT40 was "Standard" but wanted to confirm my understanding.
