Not a problem. They're awesome boats. I would definately keep it if I didn't have the growing family, but just moving to a v-drive so I can get to the kiddos quicker. I hate to give up the performance of a dd, but that's just life. Let me know if you wanna rap. Get me a pm and I'll give you my cell phone.

Will do, yeah I'm going from a v-drive to most likely a dd, weird. You will like the roominess of a v-drive.

          my 2 cents

You will always be happy with a pre 89 Nautique as long as the floor is solid and it has been maintained correctly.

I have a tower just like Bchesleys had on his. It is painted blue and has two wakeboard racks.

I would take $750 for the whole setup.

Thanks inboard60, I'll keep that in my mind if I find a 2001.

              Check this one out:

              http://www.wawaseeboat.com/1989_ski_nautique.htm

Looks like with a little elbow grease could be a nice 2001. Looks like it spent a lot of time sitting in the water though.

The interior looks to be in good shape on that one, it looks to have lived its life in doors for the most part so that is good. The swim deck needs some oil bad though. Those look like some nast rub marks/ scratches on the side of it though. My 89 has the same waterline, I think most of them do unless they are wiped down/waxed after every trip.

Motor looks clean, looks like it needs new bolts on the swim deck brackets too.

Overall if it checks out mechanically, It looks liek a nice boat if the price is right.

No trailer, no stereo (although I swear those are speakers in the front)...they are asking $6,995. Trailer is an extra $2,000. He said the floor and stringers are in good shape though. Not a big fan of the lavender accent color

Sounds high to me. I'd give around $7k with trailer.....not without. Yea those do look like speakers in the front, he might mean that there is no headunit in the boat., or just that there is no aftermarket stereo.

And I'll agree with you on the color, but if the price were right, I'd rock it.

He emailed me back and said there is a factory stereo. I'm in no hurry at this point so no big deal waiting for the right deal.

buy mine and you've got a trailer, tower, sacs, killer stereo all included - hahahaha. unless you like that sort of thing. It's fun to add, but lots of work... I've enjoyed every minute of mine, but that might just be me. Great boats, though...

the marina has had the boat for a good 2-3 years make them an offer and they just might take it.

                                Wow,

May want to see if the trans is OK, specifically reverse, cause it sure does not look like they ever slowed down pulling up to a dock.

The interior and motor look surprisingly clean compared to the rest of the boat.
