The Z5 comes off in one piece. There is no way to fold it. You pull four pins and it pops right off.

It is pricy, but it is a very well-designed top. I will have another one on my next boat!

It's not until you have a Z5 that you really appreciate the quality. I recall looking at Nautique Jeff's before I ordered one for my 230 as part of the the total boat purchase. The quality is first class. Even the little metal nautique logos attached to the frame are a nice touch. If you have a lot of riders and mutiple wakeboards, not to mention knee boards, surf boards and skis, being able to put them "in cargo" is extremely helpful. I even throw the 3 person tube on top.

TRO - just get the white ones painted. I talked to Wetsounds before I sold you that boat. They said if you took them to any autobody shop, they could prime and paint them any color you wanted. I'd go black too.

How does Z5 Cargo Rack/Bimini fold away? looks like its one piece? What happens when you fold down the tower for storage? On the price list I got here is USD$2298 !!! Why is it so expensive?

Actually if you look at the cost of spinner racks, whose purpose is to hold wakeboards, and the price of the Z5 which doubles as a bimini / board holder, it's not that bad.

That is a great looking boat. Really nice color combo. The matching trailer with the red pin-striping is a sweet match for the boat. Do you have any pics of it on the water....the boat that is.

$900.00 are you sure. I just purchased one for my current boat and it cost $1,600. When I went to the Nautique dealer, they told be about $2,000. If you can get it for $900.00 Then that is an awesome deal.
