Let me point out a few things I failed to mention.

I have a great relationship with my local dealer and there is nothing skeptical about my deal. I am paying payments on the new boat because I traded in my 2007 before I took delivery of my new boat. I was given the option to keep my boat and attempt to sell it locally slightly over trade in allowance until the new one was delivered. I was given a more than fair amount in trade (more than I could sell it for based on the used prices these days) for my 2007 boat so I was ready to unload that payment and get my existing loan paid off asap.

In order for my dealer to pay off my loan they need to have the funds from my new boat sale. So I went ahead with my new loan as soon as the boat was ordered. I didn't expect it to be this long or I might would have held off. Also, my interest rate is so much lower now that my payment is actually lower on my new boat. So I said to myself, make a more $ expensive payment on a boat I am getting rid of or start paying on the boat I am planning to own for 5+ years.

I let me dealer know today that I am tired of waiting and he assured me that he would do everything he could to get CC to ship this coming week. If that doesn't happen we will work something out on going to pick it up.

My issue is with CC taking so long to ship a boat that was finished 7 weeks ago. Not with my dealer or the deal I made.

I hear ya on the deal, but as I banker I would be poo in the pants over a loan with no title in hand. That loan, great rate or not, is completely unsecured at this point. (unless they got the title prior to the boat being created.. Odd that one, too.) I would be very upset and I would certainly make a nice weekend out of it down to Orlando, with a nice apology waiting for me, and hopefully some nice goodies, a tour, hotel, Pro demo maybe... goodness grief..

PlanetNautique is such a great site and this is exactly why I posted this thread.

Ron Nace, the Customer Service manager at Correct Craft just e-mailed me saying he read this thread and asked that I call him as soon I could. Just got off the phone with Ron and explained everything to him. He wasn't sure what exactly what was going on with my boat because this is the first he had heard of my situation abut he assured me that as soon as he returns from vacation on Monday that my boat will be on the way one way or another.

Thanks to Ron for taking time out of his vacation to speak with me. This is the type of customer service Correct Craft built it's name on.

Hopefully my next thread will be in 'Show Us Your Nautique."

loosing my patience with correct craft

Aaron just to recap our phone conversation. I will expidite and resolve this issue. My job as Customer Care manager is not an 8-5, but rather it is a 24-7. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any additional questions, I will follow up with you when I can gather all the facts regarding your boat.
          Regards

            Losing patience w. WRONG claims

Forgive my lack of patience but being a business man, I tire of such grandiose statements like "my calls never got returned." The customer may be "right", but not always ACCURATE! I question the number of times you called these two departments and never spoke with anyone. Everyone on this site knows that the customer service team at Correct Craft (and most of its dealers) are "cracker jack". I CAN appreciate the frustration over the delays, but I have learned that when people make wide claims against a company, it is not always accurate. ER

RE: Losing patience w. WRONG claims

I know in these economic times, manufacturers are spreading out some production to keep people employed and the plants running. And I know we have had distributor follow-up on merchandise. Are the Correct Craft dealers communicating any delay or extension to their customers? ER

So are you calling me a liar? I called the number listed on CorrectCraft.com three times over the past week 407-855-4141, was routed to Transportation and Customer service depts by the operator. Spoke to two different people that saidyour boat should be shipped by now, what is your number, I will find out what is going on and call you back. I never receive the call back One of my three calls I left a Voice Mail so for that instance I do not expect a call back right way, but maybe that person should have a backup checking his VM if he is out for an extended period of time.

I don't see anything wide about my claim. It's pretty simple if you ask me. I talk to someone, they say they will find out what is going on and call me back. They do not call me back. If you consider that a "wide and wrong claim against a company" then perhaps you should rethink your career as a business man.

Geezuss. I guess the point of this thread was to vent about not getting your boat. In 8 hours, it sounds like you have your boat issue resolved. You admittedly left holes in your story the first time, whose to say you didn't the second time. The way you explained it, it does sound fishy to any of the finance guys here. I am not one, however, it did leave a lot of questions. I am business man, and if my boat was two days late, let alone many weeks late, I just would not be off the phone til I had answers. They would be so sick of me my boat would show up within a couple days. Questioning these guys questions, judgement, and career choices just opens up the door to question yours more.
You got your boat on the way, congratulations. Move on.

Ron will certainly take care of you. i know this from experience. He's a great guy, and a true asset to Correct Craft.

I don't know of too many people who would go out of their way to track someone down from an Internet forum at 10:00 on a Friday night while they are on vacation. That really says quite a bit.

Great that it looks like CC is taking care of this for you but I do not understand why you are not pissed at your dealer for seemingly doing nothing about getting your boat to you ESPECIALLY when they have your money.

When a dealer orders a boat. Who is responsible for shipping and costs associated, CC or the dealer?

I think its great aarond posted this thread with his problems. We, as owners and future owners, need to know how CC is responding to situations like this and to see if it is truly their fault. If so, I want to know how they are going to make you happy and how quickly you will get your boat. Its not just curiosity, this thread has turned into a public customer service complaint, and without it, you would probably still be in the same shoes you were in before.

Keep us updated on whats going on, and forget about all the people here with their panties in a wad. CC is a reputable company, and they can man up to this without everyone else's speculation.

I do not think of this is my dealer's fault. He can't make CC put a boat on a truck. Sure he can press them saying my customer is beginning to get upset and CC will take notice because they do want happy customers. Sure the intent of this thread was to vent a little because I was told my boat would be ready and it is not. Also, I wanted to see what others here thought of my situation.

I'm not here to bash my dealer, who I have a great relationship with or Correct Craft. Just trying to get this resolved, which now looks like it is going to happen because a manager read my thread.

I think it great to have a forum like this to post both good and bad issues with CC products.
What is truly amazing is this post was monitored and addressed within 5 hours of the first post.
The other brand forum would have deleted the post immediately its not allowed to post problems.
I bought my 210 because of the build quality and design seeing how this company is operated
not only confirms my decision to buy but locks me in for the long haul. If the other brands want
to know how to get 8 JD Powers awards this is it.
