I am going to restore an '86 Martinique that came without a pylon, though there is the receptacle for it in the bottom. Before I have someone fabricate it, I thought I'd see if any of you could help me get a lead on one. :|

pylon
am looking for the exact same pylon for an 86 Martinique that I am restoring - did you ever find one? The boat does have the bracket built in to the hull, but no pylon. I would also like to find a hatch to close when the pylon is not in place. Any suggestions out there?

Who would take a pylon out of their ski boat?
I'm thinking the 86 martinique had the same pylon as other 86 nautiques.
My 78 martinique has the same pylon as a 78 ski nautique. That would makes sense though as the martinique like mine was a SN hull loaded with options. The 86 martinique is different than a SN of that age.
Have you looked through the old catalogs to see if the martinique shares the same pylon with other nautique models? I highly doubt that the martinique has a specific pylon that is totally different than all the other CC's.
