    226 Limited Wake

My buddy has a 226 limited that we ride behind quite a bit. The wake we have behind it is way huge, like massive. The only problem is, there is still a little bit of wash at the top.

I talked to a dealer at the Chicago boat show and he said to add major poundage to the rear and ride a little faster. I usually ride about 22-23 and we have been riding about 24.5- 25. It is a little better, but there is still wash. The wake is just really unpredictable, any suggestions?

try putting a 400lb bag on each side of the engine and about 800-900 in the bow and see what happens and get a 45lb dumb bell to move around.

The weight in the bow of the boat will likely help the wash. I've experienced it when a lot of people are in the boat. Adding a bunch of weight to the front helped take out the wash in the wake.
