Brutal threads.... Change of pace, gas key?

There have been some brutal threads on here lately. Obviously some people haven't thawed out yet.

I am in a semi jam as we only have 1 gas key between us. It's always a pain.

Does anyone have a spare? i'll gladly mail you a check if you drop it in the mail.

    scoke.

Agree on the threads. Pretty tired of it.
Ready for ice off and ready to splash down.

I only have one key, but you can get one of these. They are cheap, get two.

Gas cap key for $7.80 from White Lake

I just got one of these for like $5 on eBay. Haven't tried it out yet, but i'm willing to bet it will fit (our 1988 SN). Not sure what your cap looks like.

~1/8" tooth width, one side has about a 15/16" inside gap, the other 7/8"

There's no need to wrench it on, I can usually break it looks with just my fingernails, or the ignition key (which you probably don't have). Funny how they eliminated the key for the dash but you still need something to open the gas cap...

Not sure how everything in the online store fared the fire, but white lake has one for $7.80 before your PN discount is applied.

I just use a Quarter, or the side of the ignition key trom the vehicle I am driving. Both my boat, and my tow vehicle are old enough to still use a key for the ignition.

              SNMIke, email inbound!

I havent pinpointed the year, but they changed the gas cap. Anyone know?

The change was between the two holes, instead of being flat where a quarter would slip in, it now has an arch in it. very few things can get a realy tight gas cap open, or so it seems.

The 2002's it was flat. My 2007 has the arch.

the fire was in the Burlington store, and I would imagine the Whitelake store would have plenty. I believe the website orders are filled there anyway (pending availability)

That appears to be the same gas cap as I have on my 98. Just to be sure though, here's a picture that doesn't show the gas cap.

This thread is more like it. i am guessing ice off on my lake at April 4th. Pumping out antifreeze that day.

                              I. Can. Not. Wait.
