    Cleat on 90's Sport Nautique

My 94 SPN came with cleats midship, but nothing in the back. I've been using the rear handle for a while. I'm thinking I should just install some cleats. Where have others installed rear cleats? Does anyone have any pictures? Another note, this year didn't have the storage lockers. Here's a picture with possible locations.

I was thinking on adding some pop up cleats to my 97 to smooth things out a little. If you want them, you can have the cleats from my boat. You would just have to cover postage (I'll be in the US in May so could send them from Orange County.)

I might take you up on that.

I thought about doing the Attwood pull-up cleat, but I'm worried that it will not stay down over time.

Atwoods are great. Very easy to install(once you get over drilling holes in you boat) and don't rattle. Highly recomend them.

Pictures of adding pop up clete. I have not regretted it since. Just make sure and rotate the drill in reverse before you go all out to prevent cracking or damaging your clearcoat. Easy afternoon project.
