Notice in the video how they never actually show the slalom skier cross the wake.
We all know this isn't a slalom boat, but it is marketed as a cross over and the show the skier, just not doing any real turns.

Back on topic - I've often wondered who the old 226 was marketed at...ex IO owners is all I could figure. If its just a bit larger 216v, I still wonder about the need for a new model, but to each his own.

Something interesting I saw is that the 226 is actually 150lb heavier than the 230/236? (Dry weight according to cc website) It also holds 5 more gallons of fuel and 200 lb more ballast? I dont get that? The beam is wider on the 230/236 and a foot longer? Anyone know why? Just curious more than anything.

Gang, I stopped by Orlando Nautiques today to see this boat. They didn't have one. They did for a show, but sent it back. I didn't get to talk to Jeff over there today about the boat, would have liked to, but...

IMO the 226 needs alot of weight to be a decent wake, assuming that has not been changed seems kinda like you could do better for the price. But I do really like the interior and layout of the boat. The color scheme they have online is very sharp.

Why the heck can't they do this with the 220??? Ditch the I/O hump bring in the true wrap seating and get rid of the speed-bumps from the mid-ship (or at least the one on the port side and replace it with a seat back like in the 230 or 210...

i currently have both a 220 and a 230. while i prefer the wake of the 230, its cockpit is in no way half as functional as the 220s. almost everyone hates it until they spend a day on it w/ us...then they echo our comments...to each his own.
