He had a website when he was experimenting with the retail end, but dropped it and does mostly dealer work now. My dealer called me yesterday asking for his info.

1998 Ski Nautique (no tower) $625.
Upcharge for Jockey Red $40 (as far as I know, the two reds are the only ones with the upcharge---lucky me). That's pretty standard with sunbrella though.
        Shipping $20.

        Total $685.

Quote from Ranking was $710 total. Their upcharge for the red was $50. I don't recall if that total included shipping or not. I did not get an estimate of time to produce and ship from them either, but from what I've read here, I imagine it would've been longer.

With Coversports, even after the supplier delays, which he called me and told me about as they occurred, I got it in under 3 weeks from when my check was received.

Does anyone have up to date contact info for Cover Sports? I tried calling the number that swc5150 posted, but got a message that the number has been disconnected.

Both of those phone numbers are disconnected. That leaves the available trailerable cover choices to really just Rankin or Carver. I would really like to see more competition.

East tx...can that cover be put on quite easily if the boat is in the water? The factory cover i have would be a nightmare to put on with the boat in the water so i am looking for an alternative.

Yes, quite easy. I haven't done it in the water, but did it on the lift several times. I just laid it across the bow and rolled it over the windshield so that it wouldn't slide off. From there, were I in the water, I would probably roll it all the way back to the transom since from there, everything can be done from outside the boat. Next, I would put the cover under the nose, then attach the center strap to the grab rail on the transom. Then I would do the side hooks, followed by the transom hooks. Finally, the cinch cord/draw string turnbuckle and it's good to go.

Sorry to hear you're having problems getting a hold of coversports. I got that contact info from Cory at Evolution covers. I'd suggest calling him. He may be able to tell you if Brent is still making covers or not. The quality is excellent.
