I just bought a SAN and will be putting a gen 2 flight control tower on it. I'm just wondering if anyone can fit this set up in a garage with a standard 7 foot door. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm not too hopeful!!!

Yes, it will fit. I have a standard 7 foot garage and my SANTE on a DHM tandem trailer is 82.5" to the top of the FCT tower when folded down. How long is your garage? With the deck removed and the trailer toungue folded it measures 21' 7". -
the garage is 23' 2" wall to wall, but subtract about 4-5 inches to account for the garage door. 82.5... whew thats cutting it close, I'll have to keep my tires underinflated. But at least it fits.

Will also depend upon your trailer. On some trailers the boat rides higher than others. BKH2001 Super AirComment

My '03 SANTE with FCT gen 2 is 6'10" with tower folded sitting on a DHM trailer. It doesn't fit in my garage, not because of height but width. I have a two car garage with two single doors. The doors are considered 8' wide but clearance is only about 7'10". At some point, I will convert it to a single door.2003 SANTEComment

just remeasured. The door opening is 83" x 107. so I should be ok on width but really close on height. I'm worried that my driveway is on a slight incline before it gets to the garage door, so that may make the difference on the tower fitting in or not.
Anyway, the boat showed up this morning, and the tower should be coming early next week. Hopefully it fits. Thanks for the input so far!if con is the opposite of pro, is congress the opposite of progress???Comment
