Carpet over carpet.........

Anyone out there have the carpet kit that Correct Craft sells that fits over the existing carpet, it's not snap in, it just lays over the existing carpet and has a CC logo on it.

Questions for you:

Do you like it?
Does it move around or stay put?
Is it easy to clean? Seems like it would be, just pull it out, rinse it off and let it dry.
How much of the existing carpet does it cover for those of you that have a 210?

Gramps, here's some pics of the mat I got at West Coast. It has a rubber backing with bumps that are supposed to keep it from moving around but I had to put snaps around it to keep it in place. It can be removed for drying or cleaning in about 1 minute. I really like having it. Hope this helps

It looks like these are .psf files, which this site doesn't support. I converted them to .jpg files and they seem to work fine now.

I have learned in my Jeep, once carpet under the floormats with rubber backing gets wet, it stays that way forever. Do these mats have any vent holes, or do you remove them after every outing?

Carpet saver

I added the carpet saver to my boat 3 years ago. It's a great addition, the snaps are easy to add. Once installed, it doesn't move a bit. Appears the CC version fits great too. Have only had to remove it twice because of water getting through it to the carpet below.

Does anyone know where one can purchase a snap-on tool and where they sell the snap-on's (stainless steel)? How difficult is it to install the one on the carpet? Do the ones on the floor just get installed with stainless steel screws? Thanks.

My snaps are attached to the floor via small stainless screws...drill a small pilot hole, add a dab of silicone, and zip in the screw.

I got a kit from acadamy to fix my bow cover when one snap broke. It had the tool, and an assortment of "boat size" snaps. Thr screw down type and the crimp type.

Do you get the carpets from Nautique and do they make them for boats with the full wrap around seating?? Anyone know how much they run?? Thanks
