Certainly usual caution should be used and the boat checked out before money is released from escrow, but personally I don't see anything all that alarming. I looked at a bunch of used boats last year and a 3 or 4 year old boat with less than 50 hrs was NOT unusual (at least in MN/WI). We have a short season (as do some in CO) and many people do find that if they don't particularly care for a boat they don't use it as much. First time seller thing is a non issue IMHO. I think something like 97% of people in the US have never sold anything on ebay. Easy to imagine someone who's never used ebay and decided that this wasn't the right boat (or boat payment) for them and it's time to sell and ebay is a good way to do it.

Agree with cotton and, help me out here, ....not sure the price is all that low for a 4-5 year old 196 in this market. Ebay auctions that don't sell usually peter out at about 80% of a fair price/reserve. Let's see what happens.
If it were close, I'd go look at it.
Thougts?

No registration on the boat??? Very fishy...My bet, is the winning bidder got an email that stated that he needs to wire or western union money($2,000 or something like it) to some random address in Bolivia or Romania and then the title will be sent.....That trailer does not look like a US trailer.... I am calling scam here. I hope the buyer does his homework....
