im adding 750's on top of the tanks on my 236. that on top of the 1000lbs of pop bags and the wake should be slaming.
And you really should post some wake pics with that setup!
Shold look something like a title wave!
so I put my sacks in. ended up taking the tanks out, but in the end its ok cause the vent is right about at the top of the 750 full. with everything full, and one person in the boat, my swim platform was about 5" under water. wake was stupid. had enough hang time to do my taxes. all at the push of a button and still have a ton of space in the boat.
once again the 236 shows itself to be the finest wakeboarding boat around.
WakeSlayer, are your 'screened thru hulls' the scoop style? I am really debating on whether or not I want to switch over to the Ballast puppy style pump, the system I have now is all aerator pumps (two on each bag) and works well enough with the helm controls that I just have a hard time dishing out ~$400 for something that isn't broken
Sink, my thruhulls are under the swim deck. I don't feel the need for the scoops. The puppies fill fast enough you do not need to use the time riding to your site to fill. The other side is I can drain them while running. I understand the idea of not wanting to dish out the dough, but once you put them in you will be glad you did. These work far better than well enough.
Dizzy, instead of stopping at HR Block while you are up there, head to Rico's Bar & Grill, you have time for a burger and a couple beers. Much more fun than taxes. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

Wakeslayer, Do you have any pictures or your through hall install from the inside of the boat? I don't have very much room in there and like the way you ran yours out the back.
Thought I would show you a pic of the pump block I had my neighbor make for both me and my friend who has the twin to my boat. He made it for like $90, and it makes the install very clean. He would be glad to make another. If you are at all interested let me know. Or PM me and I can email you the diagram for it.

Are any of you guys running into any issue with the engine compartment getting too hot with the floor to (almost) hatch partitions? Basically I have my partitions setup and installed, and will be setting them right against the engine - basically identical to WakeSlayer's. But looking at it, will the engine compartment, specifically around the engine, be fine with the partitions getting in the way of the air flow from the side ram's on the sides?
Probably a dumb question, but just wanted to double check before I add the carpet and metal plates to the partitions.
if i wanted to replace my factory setup in an 05 would i just have to buy two jabsco pumps, mount em, and redirect the hoses? is it very in depth or a days work?(i take lots of smoke breaks and usually have a couple beers)
I dont have partitions that go all the way up, but my bags almost do and I have no issues what so ever. I planned to build some this coming winter that are two piece so I have some storage on top of bags when they are full. I cant imagine having an issue with overheating as the new boats are done that way and they have no issues at all!

I'm going to add these. I think I'm going to add some support legs to brace the added weight of the bags on the top of the hard tanks as well.
Those are designed to go underneath the seats, not in the rear locker. If your going to do a piggyback (overflow) system you need to use either the 400 or the 750 v-drive sacs that are designed for it. I have the 400s in my 230 and they work well and throws out a nice wake; you will enjoy them. FYI fli-high makes a specific piggyback kit for nautiques that come with 400s for the locker and a 650 integrated sac for the bow which you might want to look into because I believe that all of the hoses and fittings are included with it.
