On Sunday, I had just put the batteries back in and it was going to be about 70 degrees and sunny, so it was time for a quick spin on the lake. We put the boat in then picked up another couple and their two kids from their lake house and we were just touring the lake. (This is a much larger crew than we usually have.)
So, we were cruising near Jonfo's house and I realized we are about at surf speed (10) and I looked back at the wake and think "wow, look at that wake!" So I filled the rear starboard tank and had two of the adults move to sit behind me. With me at the helm and two adults and a few kids in the back seat, that wake just stood up and formed a nice curl. Beautiful.
I have not yet surfed with our nautique but I am looking forward to trying it this summer.
