Step platfrom under your rear side hatches

My friend has a boat built by another company and when you lift open the drivers side rear hatch, there is a solid piece of plastic directly under the cushion. This platform is for someone stepping off the swim platform onto the plastic so you don't step on to the rear corner v-drive cushions.

Has anyone done this with a Super Air? I am curious what kind of plastic and hinges you used?

so you're supposed to lift the hatch every time you go from the platform to the boat and vis versa?

Would your frend have a Supra? I looked at that it seemed like a lot of trouble to go through.
I have had people getting in over the sundeck for years and never had any problems.

        step platform

It is a Ski Centurion. And you have a choice, you can knee and step on the cushion, or you can lift the cushion up and then stand on a hard piece of plastic. I would think it would save your cushion, for all the stress being placed on the seams.

Save yourself the trouble and get a 211, 216v, 226, or 236. I LOVE my walkway.
