I am getting new skins from Christines for my 91 ... I would like to replace all of the foundations with plastic like all of the new boats so I wont have to bother with rotting wood anymore....does anyone know where to purchase these....???

I would think that any HDPE plastic would work as long as it was thick enough. I would search for a supplier for a sheet of it, but I bet it will be expensive!2001 Super Air Nautique

The newer boats (at least my 99) uses a product called "starboard" for what you are talking about. You can find it and cut your own (probably with a router), but I do not think it is cheap.

Yep, "starboard" is what I would use. I believe it costs somewhere around $8 to $9 per square foot. The trick will be how to heat and bend the board to match original (such as stern seat cushions on my '99 NSS).
SGIND: What boat do you have? I am also surprised that all the seat "boards" are not plastic already. Do you have any "bent" cushions currently?Comment
