Attaching dock rope to front lift point

    Hey guys-

Looking to see if anyone knows of anything out on the market that will allow a rope or two to be attached to the front lift point since we don't have a cleat there.

Looking to keep our lines permanently attached to the dock with the correct length so we can just loop it to the front of the boat and call it a day.

Simple solution would be a rubberized caribiner to attach to the dock lines each time but wanted to see what else was out there.

FYI: We dock on a river which is why we are looking to use more then just the 2 cleats already on the boat.

    Thanks!

I use a snap hook and attached to same place trailer winch connects (for lack of better description) instead of using the lifting ring.

We have carbiners for each dock line, hook on to front and back lifting ring. When out visiting we use extra loop end dock line which we feed through the lifting rings and then through themselves. When we leave the tie down ends just get tossed into the boat until we get home.

strong elastic bungee cord with beaner on the end works well because once you get the right static tie down points you can simply hook em to your boat and it works with the tide. use a regular dock line and a bungee so you can adjust it according to tide.

Use the loop end on the lifting ring and run the free end through it with some type pf hookup on the dock end. You will be keeping the lines in the boat but will not beat up the decks and your fixed lenght will be there.
