Skylon Swoop classic tower?

I have found a really cheap Skylon tower that was on a Malibu. I can get it to fit really close on my boat but it is on the angle on my 1990 Sport Nautique. I am going to try and make it fit but was wondering if anyone has used this tower before and if there is any reason not to mount it on the angle as long as I use backing plates and make sure it is fitted well. The tower came with 2 racks that are worth what I paid for the tower.

I think that tower looks great! I love the NDT's, but I went another route and am more than happy, especially for the price. I have mine mounted on the angle on my boat and haven't had any problems i.e. stress cracks, whatnot, at all, and the manufacturer has many installed there that he sent me pics of prior to the install. I don't think it's an issue. CC's are well built, albeit that they didn't really have this in mind when they started.

Thanks would love to see some pics if any one has them. I wanted a NDT but they do not make one for the 90 sports and I have a baby girl on the way so my play money and time is now gone. I just took off the graffics and I am gonig to try and wheel the gell coat to bring back some of the color.
