How fast are you going? What model island surfer is that? Could my board be my biggest problem?
Most likely! I noticed a massive difference when I moved up to the inland surfer!

in that pic we were goin 9.8 mph . our surf wake can get much better & bigger with more weight . remember you always need to move the weight around to find that balance , its ALWAYS different !!!!! you need weight upfront also !!! SURFS UP : )

Love the 230 for the surfwake... With only 2-3 people and factory ballast port & starboard wake are already good surfable. More weight = more fun...

I'm a goofy footer and thinkin about getting a new boat. Any '09 or '10 CC's that turn a right hand propeller? That's what I need.

With a properly weighted boat, the prop direction has little if any affect on the wake. I have an 03 SAN that we surf behind both starboard and port and there is no difference.

I got back out on the water and brought along a lot more people than I normally do to try and figure out what I needed to do weight wise. I had three people (about 450-500lbs) up in the bow and the 4 more people (about 700 lbs) sitting on the side of the rider. The wake was so easy to ride. Now I just have to figure out what kind of ballast I want to add because I hate taking a bunch of people out on the boat.

Has anyone used the FLY HIGH system in their boat? Any plus/minus comments on the system? How will the pumps fill the additional tanks? I am assuming my gauges won't work for the additional tanks.

The best setup in my oppinion on the 230-236 is as follows:

Take out factory tanks in rear(30 minutes)
Replace with 750lb fat sacs with quick releases. They plug right in with no mod's at all.
This also gives you tons more storage when they are empty. It is carpeted underneath the old tanks, so it looks somewhat custom.

Next is 1,000 lb in the bow however you want.... Fat chics(least favorable), fat sac, or lead.

With this setup the surfing rocks!

Thank Dizzyj for this setup, he turned me onto it!
