Don't be blue......know that you've got the world's greatest slalom skier coming to save the day!! Their mission....take an amazing boat.....and totally reinvent it to make it even better on all levels. New Design, New Production capabilities, New Minds and Vision for the boat and clean slate to make the best slalom boat they can. Obviously this will be up to you all to agree / disagree with, but from what I've seen for the new boat and additional direction for it in the future.....there will be ALOT of families with the new 200 Ski Nautique....open bow or closed bow. Look for more information soon...INCLUDING Photos and video. A new look....new vision and new focus...... Slalom skiers will have a two totally new models that you will like!

I can not wait until the new boat comes out. The one thing after owning a 1992 Ski, 1993 Ski, 1995 Ski, 1997 Masters Edition Ski and now my 2002 Ski 196 that Correct Craft always from year to year makes improvements on their boats and if they can't they simply stay with what works. In my opinion if they are coming out with a whole new boat it will be better than the 2009 boat or they would not produce it.

As I mentioned, I can't wait and more than likely I will be upgrading to a 2010 Closed bow 196 or 200 or whatever they name it. :grin: :grin: :grin:

I sure hope they don't follow the MC pricing structure and retail these things for $80k! I've mentioned in a post before that a friend of mine considered a new PS190 this year and the best price they offered was $65k! I would be hanging on to my 196 if that were the case.

The only problem I see it for the people who are a family man, who want a closed bow. Now they are suckered into having to get the open bow by the wife as they are the same boat.
I guess it will depend on the price difference.

Well....good news is you have MORE room in the boat so if you want a closed bow as it is wider and the interior has been reworked to give your more space.....so you will have more room for the family. The storage innovations they have added will help you maximize the space in the boat and keep it clear for people in the boat. Also the ski-ability of the open bow is going to be the same as the closed bow. There is no longer the variation in the open / closed bow. Their focus on the new 200 was to make both boats work on the same hull. Again, you will need to be the final judge once it becomes available....but check it out.

That really does sum it up well, looking back at my first CC which was a 1977 to my 05' 206 there is absolutely no comparison, I for one am confident that the new "196"/"200" will be an improved version of it's predecessor, looking forward to seeing it!

I'm sorry guy's, I know it suck's canal water. Nobody want's to let go of their money, for fear of losing their job, or whatever.

You wouldn't believe how hard it is for me NOT to post something pertaining to politics.

I'm going on 14 month's of NO pay, and I'm employed. Sales rep for building supply company. No sale's, no pay. And no end in sight.

I pray for all of us........as in the USA. God help us!!
