Got an update today from the Factory. Friday will have a CEO blog with more info about the boat and a video with info on it. Additional Photos / info will be released in the coming weeks on the Team Nautique Blog. Also got a call from Steve Carlton head of Product Development....said Andy and Chris came to the site yesterday for some of the dealers. Said Chris ran 41 and 1 1/2 @ 43. Then Andy went out and ran 41 and then ran 2 at 43. (34 mph?...I would think)

I'll let you know more as I am allowed to to know/tell you.

Thoughts:

Coloring looks like a Malibu. I'm going to miss the big SkI NAUTIQUE across the hull.
The helm is... I don't know how to say it, it is going to be a HUGE change some may like it some may not.
They really made the interior look very Malibu and MC ish.
When the boat is not in motion it still rides higher, to me it doesn't look as sleek, that is always how I could tell a true slalom towboat.

If you have pictures, PLEASE POST THEM! I'm dieing to see them.

2010 Ski Nautique

After watching the video several times, I still can't decide whether or not I like the new design. As far as skiing, my 2007 196 will still be state of the art - no matter what the 2010 skis like. At 28 off and in, there is no wake - can't imagine how you can improve on that! Spray has never been an issue since 1997 with these boats. The graphics remind me of my neighbors 2008 Malibu Response - not good. I'm an old-school guy and like the belly stripe with the big SKI NAUTIQUE down the side. I'll withhold complete judgment until I have a chance to see/ski/drive in person.

Exactly my thoughts, at least someone else agrees... and likes the SKI NAUTIQUE on the side. It is hard to even tell it is a Correct Craft (Nautique) where they put the Ski Nautique logo.
